Anthony, a spokesperson for the U.S. Secret Service, reported that Trump is safe. Following the incident, Trump was immediately taken off the stage to a secure location. In the video, it can be seen that when the shooting happened, Trump quickly lowered his hand and knelt behind the podium. After that, Secret Service agents surrounded him. However, Dainik Jagran does not confirm the viral video. A Secret Service official stated that protective measures have been implemented and the incident is under investigation.
A source told Reuters that the shooter is dead and the Secret Service is trying to determine the shooter’s motives and details of the assassination attempt. There is also news of the death of another person present at the rally. The source said, “I was informed about the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I am grateful to hear that he is safe and doing well. I pray for him, his family, and everyone involved in the rally.”
The American President stated that he is with his doctor and is fine. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the deadly attack on former U.S. President Donald Trump. He wished Trump a speedy recovery and tweeted that he is concerned about the attack on Trump. “There is no place for violence in politics and democracy. I wish him a speedy recovery,” Modi added.
Meanwhile, after the shooting incident at the rally, Elon Musk has also come forward in support. Musk stated in a social media post that the head of the Secret Service and the leader of this security team should resign. “There is no place for such violence in America. We cannot ignore this,” he said. “I want to thank the Secret Service and all agencies, including state agencies,” he added. Trump’s spokesperson stated that Trump is fine and is being examined at a local medical facility. He expressed gratitude to the Secret Service for safely evacuating Trump and Metro. “There is no place for such violence in America. We must unite as a nation to condemn it,” he said.
